These terms cover the use of pomonaartesian.com and the text message notifications
offered by Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company. Using the website or enrolling in text
notifications means you accept them.
About this website
This site is published by Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company, a non-profit, member-owned Class
A water system. We publish information here in good faith, but the site is informational. It is
not a substitute for the notices, statements, and water quality reports we send directly, and it
does not change the bylaws or the rights and duties of members.
Water service and membership
Water service, assessments, and membership are governed by the company’s bylaws and by
Washington state law, not by this page. Nothing on this website creates a right to service or
changes an assessment.
Text message notifications
If you enroll, these terms apply to the messages we send:
- Program. Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company sends billing notifications,
payment reminders, payment confirmations, and service alerts such as outages or shut-off notices.
We do not send marketing text messages. - How to join. Text JOIN to (509) 902-0523
from the mobile number you want us to use. - Frequency. Message frequency varies.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s rates apply;
we do not charge for the messages. - Opting out. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You will
receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. - Help. Reply HELP for help, or call
(509) 902-0523. - Consent is optional. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not
a condition of water service or of membership in Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company. If you do
not enroll, or if you opt out, you continue to receive your statements and required notices by
mail. - Your number. Enroll only a mobile number you control. If your mobile number
changes or is reassigned, tell us so we can update or remove it. - Delivery. Text messages depend on your carrier’s network. We cannot
guarantee that every message is delivered or delivered on time, and carriers are not liable for
delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on text messages for emergencies — for a water
emergency, call (509) 902-0523. - Supported carriers. Major US carriers are supported. Carrier participation
can change without notice.
How we handle your mobile number is described in our
Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share
mobile numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
Accuracy and availability
We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or
always available. We may change or remove content at any time.
Links to other sites
This site links to third-party services such as Facebook and Google Drive. We do not control
those services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company is not liable for indirect or
consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the text notification program. This
does not limit any obligation we have as a water purveyor under Washington state law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
Changes to the text messaging terms will be reflected on this page and on our
